NATO phonetic alphabet - listening practice

I have a volunteer position where I have to listen to radio transmissions. Sometimes people spell the names of locations using the NATO phonetic alphabet. I found that my brain can't keep up and that I needed to practice listening to spoken phonetic spellings.

I created an interactive online practice tool. When you click the audio button (🔊) it plays a short audio clip of the NATO phonetic spelling of a word. Then you type the English word that corresponds to the phonetic letters you heard. The tool gives you feedback about your guess.

It has a list of 200 words from which it randomly selects words.

I have found the tool really helpful and have quickly become a much better listener. With only about ten minutes of practice I can now correctly hear over 90% of the words.
