Connections Made Easy
"Connections" is a very popular puzzle from the New York Times. When I played it I was frustrated by the official version that reveals the solution after four wrong guesses. Often I want to keep trying to solve the puzzle even if I have no guesses remaining. It spoils it for me when the solution is revealed. So I made a version in which the player can choose to reveal the solution or continue playing. Additionally, I added other features to provide assistance to novice players. Optional settings include unlimited guesses, showing previous guesses with color, revealing word color when selected, and playing a sound on correct guess. The site keeps an archive of previous puzzles so you can binge-out. I enjoyed playing my version so much I added a new feature where you can create your own puzzle to share with friends.
